Originally scheduled for March, we moved the OAAs to September in the hope that the event would go ahead. However, with continued restrictions in place, we felt it was important to come up with another solution to ensure we could still recognise the outstanding contributions from people and organisations in the offshore industry and to celebrate their success.
Although we would much prefer to celebrate in person, we are delighted to be able to celebrate virtually with our finalists, sponsors and guests on 14th August from 1800-2000.
We are grateful to our sponsors and to Rachel Riley who will be hosting the event from her home in Manchester! As well as finding out who our winners are, we will hear from some special guests during the evening and will have a live Q&A with Rachel following the ceremony.
The OAAs will be free for all to attend and further information will be posted on www.spe-oaa.org
The OAA’s is not the only event we manage that will be taking place virtually this year. Trades Awards, Build It, Seismic Conference and many others are likely to follow suit.
With no limits on how many people can attend and where they can tune in from, this will open up many opportunities for events to go truly global and we are delighted to be part of this journey.
