Local creative marketing agency Mearns & Gill today (Wednesday 31st May) reports record-breaking profits for the year to 31 January 2023.
Turnover at the Carden Place agency has grown by over 70% compared to the previous year reaching £2.9m in 2022-23.
To manage this growth, Mearns & Gill has recruited 4 new members to the team in the last 12 months appointing new business team lead Malcolm Charles, events manager Aimee Aitken, graphic designer Graeme McDonald & junior account manager Weronika Ptaszynska. The agency headcount now sits at 20.
The Aberdeen agency has taken on 38 clients over the last 12 months bringing the total number of clients supported by the business in 2022/23 to 85.
Mike Wilson, Managing Director comments, “The growth in 2022-23 has come from both existing and new clients. As a full-service agency, clients are increasingly aware that engaging with a single agency to assist across their brand, digital, web, advertising & PR and event needs, just makes sense.”
Mike continues, “We are delighted to welcome Malcolm, Aimee, Graeme & Weronika to the team as part of our growth plans. At the heart of Mearns & Gill is making a difference to our clients’ marketing activities and helping them reach existing and new audiences. In doing so, we look forward to continued growth for Mearns & Gill in the years ahead.”
