SPE Well Decommissioning 2022 took place on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd April at P&J Live, Aberdeen, and welcomed over 200 delegates each day. It was amazing to see delegates attending not just from the UK but from Norway, the Netherlands, France, and as far off as Brazil and the US!
Over the past two years, we have been incredibly lucky that our client, SPE Aberdeen, remained dedicated to delivering their Continuing Education events which gave us the opportunity to learn and develop our skills in the world of virtual events. We were then able to use these newfound skills to assist other clients to deliver a whole host of different types of virtual events since March 2020. These skills are now a core part of what Mearns & Gill has to offer and we will certainly be using these for a long time to come to enhance both in-person and digital events.
The team really enjoyed being back in a venue and having the chance to meet and interact with exhibitors, speakers, and delegates face to face! There was a buzz surrounding the whole event with everyone in high spirits over the two days. Networking was done, knowledge was shared, contacts were made, and the whole experience was a really positive way to kick off the conference season!
