Bringing Television Programme Quality to your next Digital Event

As a result of this increased demand, our team have been working closely with Roy Stewart and Andrew Dunn of Stream Television to create our very own studio, right here at Mearns & Gill.

Whilst we love the various video conferencing platforms that have allowed us to do so much across the past 12 months, incorporating a television quality live stream element can bring your digital event up a level, allowing you to organise events that look more like live TV than a video call.

To show you what we mean by this, here is a freeze frame of a recent live stream for our client ASPC. Lorna Coutts, Chief Executive, and John MacRae, Chairman, hosted from our socially distanced studio, while three property experts called in remotely for a live Q&A with attendees from across the North East.

AV A-Team

Whilst our events team pride themselves in creating bespoke events to meet our clients’ brief, we work in tandem with Roy and Andrew whose technical expertise and experience in live television and events enable us to run these live streaming productions. For that reason, we asked Roy to sum up why they are so excited and passionate about the launch of M&G TV, and what this means for the future of events:

Roy said “Over the past year, webinars and digital get togethers have become an integral part of everyday life in B2B communication, education, leisure and social media. However, we wanted to take the quality of the webinar up to something more akin to that of a live television programme. So we have invested in the very latest equipment to allow us to offer this live television for the internet experience. It’s live streaming of events to a television broadcast standard.

“For the techies out there, we use full broadcast lighting and audio, 4x4K cameras, 2xHD cameras, 2 switchers each with 8 HDMI inputs, 4 chromakeys, 6 DVEs, 16-way Multiview plus streaming engines and full HD recording. We can also stream your event simultaneously to over 30 digital platforms including the more commonly used ones of YouTube, Facebook Live and Linkedin Live”.

If you have an event that you would like to talk to us about or would like to find out more about the events we have already organised from our new studio, please get in touch because we’d love the chance to chat.
